Tube Bending

Tube Bending Services

Tube bending refers to a variety of metal forming and fabrication processes used to form pipes or tubing permanently. For some applications, tube bending involves small tubing and simple bends that are completed by hand. Larger tubing and complex bends may require manual bending machines, electric CNC benders, or sophisticated fully programmable machines that are fully automated.

While tube bending can be a relatively quick and easy process, many applications require the use of complex machinery, bending software and specialized skills. At Miracle Welding, we have the state-of-the-art equipment and highly skilled team needed to provide solutions for nearly any tube bending application, including specialty items such as handrails and railings.

Different Types of Tube Bending

Rotary Draw Bending

Rotary Draw Bending is the principal method of high-quality tube bending today.

Bends are formed by drawing the material around a rotating bend die. The pipe or tube is held in a gripper arm on the die as the pipe is drawn around and into the bending die groove. What distinguishes rotary draw bending from other methods is the line of tangency is fixed at the point of bend to fully control the flow of material. This control helps to produce tube bends of superior quality. Rotary draw bending utilizes CNC and automation to precisely control the process and create intricate bending designs.

Custom Tube Bending

At Miracle Welding, we offer a full range of tube bending services to create custom tube configurations for any application. Our capabilities enable us to fabricate specialty items such as handrails and tube guards to meet any specifications. Our state-of-the-art facility and equipment perform tube bending services with programmable bend angle and springback compensation on CNC machines for a variety of commonly used metal and alloy materials with many different diameters and wall thicknesses. Our custom tube bending services utilize the most advanced technology available to manufacture products of the highest quality and with the tightest tolerances possible.

Tube Bending Applications

Miracle Welding’s tube bending services are used by a range of industries to fill many applications. Tube bending is used to create custom handrails, railings, crane guards, signs, large radius handrail and other structural accents that can withstand the most challenging commercial and industrial environments. In addition to structural accents, our tube bending services enable us to serve many manufacturing and OEM partners that require fast turnarounds, tight tolerances, and guaranteed quality control.

Our unique metal bending processes and coping capabilities enables us to offer tube bending services for the most complex applications and serve many industries including:
