The crane beam shown here, was built in Miracle Welding Inc.’s custom steel fabrication facility. For use in the pre-cast industry, this beam is a support for a large gantry crane. It was constructed using A992 carbon steel and utilized many of our fabrication capabilities. Structural components where cut per the customer drawings, using saw and plasma cutting. The assembly was completed using MIG welding by our certified welders, who met tolerances of < 1/16″. This 5,000 lb. beam, was painted safety red in our shops painting facility, the finished product measured 16″ wide, by 40′-4″ in length.
We build three of these 80,000 lb. capacity beams per year. See the table below to learn more about this project or what Miracle can build for you.
